The story of the Bloody Mary has (as many cocktails) a wide variety of origins. This is what we believe had happened. There was a young Bartender named Fernand Petriot who worked in a bar in New York. He made this drink for Roy Barton, a customer who visited this bar regularly. Barton knew a girl ‘Bloody Mary’, and he said this drink reminded him of her. If you want to hear more story’s of the Bloody Mary, please visit The Shiki Distillery. We renamed the Bloody Mary to the Bloody Michi (wisdom, beauty in Japanese), and we added some new spices. Enjoy!
